Meerapur and Kundarki By Election Results: The way the Muslim community sent the Lok Dal candidate to the assembly by winning the 2022 elections from the Meerapur assembly seat, will it support the Lok Dal this time too or will it turn towards the Samajwadi Party, which has always been called the leader of Muslims.
By-election is to be held on November 20 on the Meerapur vidhaof Uttar Pradesh. Due to which this time all eyes are on the Muslim voters in this election, because four main parties have given tickets to the Muslim community from this seat. In which Zahid Hussain from Azad Samaj Party, Shahnjar from Bahujan Samaj Party, Sumbul Rana from Samajwadi Party and Arshad Rana from AIMIM are in this electoral fray. Due to which this time it will be seen on whose head the Muslim community here will crown.
Review of Meerapur Vidhan Sabha Bye Election Seat
If political experts are to be believed, the Muslim community of this seat has mostly been seen standing with the Samajwadi Party in the last elections. Due to which, in the 2022 elections also, Chandan Singh Chauhan, the candidate of the SP Lok Dal alliance, won from this seat, but this time the equation is completely opposite because this time Lok Dal has an alliance with NDA in this election, whereas in 2022 it contested this seat with the India alliance.
Now in such a situation, it has to be seen that the way the Muslim community here had sent the Lok Dal candidate to the assembly by winning the 2022 elections, will it support the local this time too or will it turn towards the Samajwadi Party, which has always been called the leader of Muslims.
It will also have to be seen that where the four main parties have fielded candidates from the Muslim community in this by-election, will this Muslim community here disintegrate in this election.
Let us tell you that there are about 3 lakh 25000 voters on this seat, in which the number of Muslim voters is around 1.25 lakh, due to which Muslim voters on this seat play a decisive role in the elections, so all eyes are on the Muslim community in this election, while Lok Dal candidate Mithlesh Pal is in the fray from NDA.
Experts say that if the Muslim voters get scattered, then Lok Dal candidate Mithlesh Pal will get the direct benefit, due to which his victory on this seat will become easier.
Now in such a situation, to woo the Muslim voters, Akhilesh Yadav is said to be coming to Meerapur area on November 16 and Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi on November 18, where he will address public meetings and campaign for his candidate.
