Delhi Assembly Election 2025 Dates : The Election Commission of India (ECI) has reportedly held a meeting to finalize preparations for the Delhi Assembly elections to be held early next year. This meeting of the Election Commission is taking place at a time when Delhi is to vote early next year. The Election Commission may announce the poll dates for the Delhi Assembly elections between February 6 and 10.
Possibility of a Triangular Contest
There is a possibility of a triangular contest between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress in Delhi. Apart from this, some parties like Left parties and NCP can also contest in Delhi.
According to a report by NDTV, the election dates are likely to be announced soon after a preparatory meeting this week to finalize the preparations for the Delhi elections.

AAP, trying to win for the third consecutive time, has announced candidates for all 70 assembly seats. Party chief Arvind Kejriwal will contest from his New Delhi seat, while Chief Minister Atishi will contest from Kalkaji. The AAP list includes ten turncoats, seven from the BJP and three from the Congress. The party has not given tickets to 16 sitting MLAs. Replaced three MLAs with family members and swapped candidates in two constituencies. The BJP is yet to announce candidates for 70 assembly seats. The Congress has announced the names of 21 candidates.
