Delhi Assembly Election 2025  Dates : The Election Commission of India (ECI) has reportedly almost finalised the preparations for the Delhi Assembly elections to be held in the month of February. The Election Commission may announce the voting dates for the Delhi Assembly elections between 6 and 10 February.

Possibility of a Triangular Contest

There is a possibility of a triangular contest between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress in Delhi. Apart from this, some parties like Left parties and NCP can also contest in Delhi.

According to a report the election dates are likely to be announced soon after a preparatory meeting this week to finalize the preparations for the Delhi elections.

Delhi Assembly Election 2025 Date announcing Possibility

Delhi Vidhan Sabha Election 2025  Dates will be announced between 6 to 10 January According to the Election Commission, the term of the Delhi Assembly is till 23 February 2025. According to an official of the Commission, a minimum of 35 days are required for the process of assembly elections for any state.

In this way, the announcement of elections is expected between 6 to 10 January. Probably the announcement of  Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 will be made in the second week of January. For this, the ECI will call a press conference and inform about the day-to-day program.

Delhi Election 2025 Voting Date Possibility

Delhi Assembly Election 2025 Date expected - The Delhi Assembly elections will also be the last election of the tenure of the current Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar. Rajiv Kumar is due to retire on February 18. According to sources, elections will therefore be held in Delhi before February 18.

Expected Date of Assembly elections 

It is expected that voting can be done in Delhi elections on or around 12-13 February. However, this can be revealed only by the announcement made by the Election Commission.

Delhi Election 2025: Triangular contest between Congress, AAP and BJP in Delhi?

AAP, trying to win for the third consecutive time, has announced candidates for all 70 assembly seats. Party chief Arvind Kejriwal will contest from his New Delhi seat, while Chief Minister Atishi will contest from Kalkaji. The AAP list includes ten turncoats, seven from the BJP and three from the Congress. The party has not given tickets to 16 sitting MLAs. Replaced three MLAs with family members and swapped candidates in two constituencies. BJP has so far announced candidates for 29 assembly seats. But the Congress has announced the names of 48 candidates.
