The state of Gujarat will have its election session for Panchayats across more than ten thousand of villages. The Gujarat Gram sarpanch panchayat polls are fought independently by the candidates. Thus party symbols are not utilized in such elections.

The polling session will be held across the state. However, a total of 1,325 villages have been claimed as Samras. Samras are those panchayats where the polling need not be conducted as the people themselves have chosen their members as well as the Sarpanchs for their Gram Panchayats without any election session.

The Gujarat Gram Panchayat Election polls are essential as the representatives are chosen who works as a mediator to convey the needs and grievances to the higher authorities. The heads supervises and initiates to give facilities to the people. He functions at the ground level.

The Gujarat Panchayats elections are conducted after every five years. The State Election Commission (SEC) of the state of Gujarat is organizing and supervising the election session. It has deployed special officials and security personnel for ensuring the secure and fair conduct of poll. The SEC announced that there will be more than 1 crore voters in the state who will be voting on the declared date.

The voters will need to provide their valid identity proof to be eligible for voting. The voters will cast two votes; one to eject the member of Panchayat and the other to elect the Sarpanch of the Panchayat.

The voting session was successfully completed on 27th of December 2016. It is expected that a satisfactory turn out of voters will be recorded. The Gujarat Gram Panchayat Election Results will be published after the counting of votes which will be finished on the 29th of December 2016.

Polling booths have been set up which will have ballot boxes across the state for the polling session. The polling will begin from morning 8 am to evening 5 pm.

The Gujarat Gram Panchayat Election Result of previous election sessions was quite productive for the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). In the local bodies and municipalities poll, BJP registered victory with flying colors. That is why this polling session holds great significance for the Congress party.

The Chief Minister, Vijay Rupani of ruling party BJP claimed to perform even better than the previous polls. The party is campaigning on the issues of surgical strikes and demonetization. On the other hand, Congress the most competitive party in the state is cornering the ruling government on mismanagement in implementation of demonetization, issues of farmers and patidars.

The election campaigning session witnessed various rallies and conferences which were duly addressed by eminent political leaders including BJP President Amit Shah and Vice President of Congress Party, Rahul Gandhi.

The Gujarat Gram Panchayat Election Counting Result of the poll will ultimately declare whether the efforts made by candidates were fruitful fruitful for. The voter, undoubtedly, holds the real power. The SEC claims to conduct peaceful election session under its supervision. The declaration of result will provide each ward their elected representatives for their Panchayats.
