Meghalaya (Tura) Lok Sabha By Election Result Live – Tura Lok Sabha Parliamentary Bye Election Counting Live Result 2016 will be declared on 19th May 2016

Meghalaya state was successfully completed its session of Tura Lok Sabha By Poll Election 2016. The poll was required because of the demise of P A Sangama this year on 4th of March. The polling session was held on the 16th of May 2016 and the Meghalaya Tura Parliamentary (Lok Sabha) Election Bye Result will be declared on the 19th of May 2016 after the counting of votes.

As soon as the announcement was made by the Election Commission, the model code of conduct was put into force immediately. The candidates was submit their nominations from April 22 to April 29, 2016. The scrutiny of the candidatures was performed by the Returning Officer on the 30th of April 2016.

The casting of votes was accomplished on May 16. The political parties was prepared themselves for the Tura Lok Sabha Bye Election. None of the political party take this by election lightly as every victory proclaims the strength of the party in the respective constituencies and states. The Election Commission of the state of Meghalaya had expressed its desire and motive to encourage more and more voters to come out on the day of Tura bye election.

In this Tura Lok Sabha (Parlimentary) Bye  Election session, Bhartiys janta Party (BJP) had refused to field any candidate. Rather it will extend support to its National Democratic Alliance (NDA) ally party, National People’s Party. BJP had earlier been a support to the Late P A Sangma and this time it will in support of his son. On the other hand Congress party has chosen Chief Minister Mukul Sangma’s wife, Dikkanchi to contest in the Tura Lok Sabha By Election. Both the political parties had expressed their confidence of winning the Lok Sabha by-election of Tura in Meghalaya.

 The Tura Lok Sabha By Election 2016 may not be an easy task for the Congress party to win as it is considered that the sympathy factor will play its role in influencing the voters.  During by-election session the Sangama’s son said that he has complete faith on the wisdom of voters who are well aware of his father’s contributions to the constituency.

On the other hand, the Congress MLA and contestant Dikkanchi was very positive of her win. During election period she told media that the sympathy wave has never been an influential factor upon the voters. She referred to past incidents where the sons could not gain victory in the bye election due to sympathy actor for their fathers.
