The Panchayats in India forms a three tier structure consisting of District Zila Panchayats, Gram Panchayats and Block Panchayats BDC. All three play a vital role in making the state develop faster. This is because the panchayats have the responsibility to explore at the ground level. The heads of panchayats attempt to eradicate the issues as much as possible. The further problems can be forwarded to the higher authorities.
The major competing parties in the state include Indian National Congress (INC), Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Jharkhand People’s Party (JPP). Each party is striving hard to attain the confidence of people. However, it is considered to be the battle between INC and BJP. However, the other s can become the last moment shockers by winning more seats than the major fighting parties.
The state is echoing with slogans, blames and pledges. The strategies for campaigns have been outlined and each party is adopting different and unique method to win the confidence of people. The people though hold the ultimate power to choose. That is why the Election Commissioner of the state Mr. Shiv Basant has urged the people to vote as the panchayats are responsible for strengthening the democratic structure of any state.
