The stage is now all set as the dates for the Uttar Pradesh Gram Panchayat elections have been announced by the State Election Commission(SEC). The dates of all the gram panchayat across the state are out according to their panchayat. The main posts for which the elections are held are Pradhan, Upp Pradhan, Panch Ward Member, BDC Member. In these elections the eminent parties of the state like the Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), and Congress would be participating along with the independent candidates and would do their best to win.
The dates declared for different for various purposes are as follows:
- From 8th of August 2015to 10th of August 2015 was the last time period for the inspection of the electoral roll.
- Till the 14th of August 2015 objections could be made.
- From 15th August 2015 to 20th of August 2015 all the disposal of claims and counter claims were to be made.
- For the voters the final list of the electoral roll was done on 31th of August 2015.
The election commission has restricted the election expenditure to 1.50 lakhs. To have clean elections the State Election Commission has decided to do videography of the election proceeding and in addition to that the liquor shops of the state would be shut 48 hours before the day of election.
The State Election Commission (SEC) has not made any changes in the boundaries for the villages though this time there is a increase in the number voters of the state.
UP Gram Panchayat Election Poll Schedule 2015
The UP Gram Panchayat Elections 2015 are to be completed in four phases and would started from September and completed in the month of October. The first phase of election would be held on 9th of October 2015 in which more than 11 crore (110 million) people are expected to vote. The second, third and fourth phase will be held on 13th, 17th and 29th of October. The time for the voting will be from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. According to the State Election Commissioner Satish Aggarwal the panchayat elections would not be held in the Gautum Budhnagar.
The final result or counting of UP Gram Panchayat Election vote will be made on 1st of November 2015
